An interesting and unpredictable finale is awaiting for this year English Premier League with yesterday’s BIG Sunday matches producing unexpected results!
In a one-sided match, Manchester United consolidate their grip on the Premier League with a convincing 3-0 win over arch-rivals Liverpool while Chelsea kept hold of the Devil’s tail when the Blues came from behind to beat their London rivals Arsenal 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Poor Merseysiders. The moment after Wes Brown gave United the lead, the talkative Mascherano got himself sent off for protesting a decision by the man in black and put a big hole in Liverpool’s midfield. It’s only a matter of time before ManUtd increase their tally and with the late introduction of Tevez and Nani, United got their second through Ronaldo and Nani rubbed salt into Liverpool’s wound by adding a third in 81st minute.
As for Arsenal, to lose after taking the lead in the 59th minute is a sign that the Gunners might not have what it takes to be champions after all. Remember them taking a big lead somewhere around December 07? Now not only they found themselves to be overtaken by United, even Chelsea had leapfrogged them into second after this famous victory! Their morale and confidence seems to be cracking and it really does not look good at all for them. Let’s see how these Big 4 of the Premier League finish their season this coming May…. 
As for our Man Utd crazed CM - Mr. Lim GE will be very happy yesterday night. I read his interview with a blogger before and would love to tell our CM that this year, I think Man Utd will win the Premier League again! RED is the auspicious colour of 2008.
