Quoted from the source of Reuters in Yahoo!:
TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan’s losing presidential candidate Frank Hsieh quit as chairman of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party on Wednesday, saying the party needed to reform to attract younger voters after he lost in Taiwan’s Presidential Election by almost 20% of the votes to Kuomintang’s Ma Ying-jeou.
Hello Malaysian politicians (especially from BN). Learn from the real jantan who is willing to take responsibility for defeat and failure in political world. When the people tell you that you’re no longer relevant to the political world, it’s time to reflect on yourself and Do the Right thing by stepping down. and mind you, I’m not telling this to Pak Lah.
You must be thinking, hey are you crazy? Not to Pak Lah, then to who? Aiyoooo… in our Malaysian political scene nowadays ah, alot more people would have to queue in front of Pak Lah if it comes to resigning. Here are a few of the so-call forerunners:
1. Our Birthday boy - Sami Ve’boooooo’ - Sami himself & his party was totally ‘annihilated’ by voters in the last election and yet he still has the guts to stay on. Reali extraordinary! His face must be as thick as the nuclear bunker in Los Alamos. Able to withstand a 100 megatonne TNT nuclear explosion! If a nuclear war is gonna happen, I think Sami will survive with no sign of radioactive damages. As if Malaysians didn’t get enough of him, he went beyond all ‘possibilities’ by allying himself with his once archrival yet ball-less Subra to rebuild MIC? What an irony! The ‘Destroyer’ of MIC wanted it to be rebuilt. Will it be possible? MIC is finished! It’s destroyed! The party is like M.I.C-K.E.Y M o u s e - gone to Disneyland oredi. It would be easier for our Indian friends to set up another party to gain back the support of the Indian grassroots rather than rebuilding MIC. RTM should come up with its own MI-4 (Mission Impossible) movie, starring Sami & Subra!
2. Our ‘Tigger’ Koh Tsu Khoon - Gerakan followed MIC close close in their scale of defeat in the last GE. Penang, their crown jewel was lost! So did most of their candidates in other states. Together with his close confidante ‘Winnie The Pooh’, he thought he was going to be a minister in the Parliament was as simple as ABC. By contesting a Parliament ’safe’ seat in Batu Kawan, he knew his chance was good! Ptui… even batu also refused to kawan wif him! That’s why Gerakan lost everything in Penang. Won’t that make him 2nd best candidate to ‘Do the Right Thing’??? Yes yes yes, I know what u gonna say. Koh Tsu Khoon was a gracious loser and he offered to resign. But the party rejected his resignation right? If his party reject, then he should insist them to accept! He is the head ma. Who’s strong enough to resist? Everyone should ‘toe the party line’ to accept! So simple nia. Your party lost until your mum also cannot recognise you liao, what’s the point for you to stay? Pack your stuff and go la!
Lately there are allegations that the previous Penang state gov sold hundreds of acres of premium land to some high influential people (like Curry & gang) at very very high discount rate and in turn, these people sold the land to private sector at very very high price. Our honourable CM is busy digging this matter and if these are all proved true, I realli dunno where Tan Sri Koh gonna hide his face. I can’t write too much here cos there is not much detail available yet. Just wait n see. Dear fellow bloggers, let’s blow this issue out of any propotions IF it’s proven TRUE!
3. Penang State Education Deputy Director - Ibrahim Mohamad.
According to The Star reports yesterday, a SENIOR state Education Department Official ‘verbally’ told school heads at a briefing last week that teachers’ attendance to Penang state functions was not compulsory and that the teachers were granted the “flexibility” since Penang was no longer under the Barisan Nasional rule. Now who the hell is this moronic Senior Official of ED? According to Anil Netto, this moron might have come under direct supervision of Kerismudin. Can he be the Deputy Director of the state ED? According to Aliran website, it has been identified that ‘The Man’ was the Deputy Director of Penang State. Patutlah The Star reported “until the time of printing, the Deputy Director of ED Ibrahim Mohamad was still could not be reached for comments”. It’s him wat… tat’s y he quickly hide himself!
Dear CM Guan Eng, are they asking or encouraging our teachers to ‘ponteng’ as well? Ohhhh, murid murid, jangan ponteng sekolah ya. Cikgu boleh ponteng, tapi murid murid tak boleh. Ini ialah amalan double standard BN! Jangan nak protest tau, jangan demo dekat padang sekolah. Nanti cikgu bawa jumpe En. Kerismudin cikgu disiplin baru tau! LOL…. tat’s what we got in our Malaysians’ Education system if we have someone like Kerismudin there as head!
So in this case, either the Director of Penang State Education Department ‘Do the Right Thing’ a.k.a resign for allowing such remarks to be circulated among the schools or he can reveal & SACK the culprit for ‘merepek’ and encouraging ‘ponteng’ culture among teachers! We got enough rubbish in so many government’s departments & agencies and the last thing we want is some stupid guinea-pigs running our education systems like pak pandir. Sigh… I’m getting worried when my children reached their schooling age.
It’s an honour for one to Do the Right Thing. Unfortunately, we don’t have such culture in Malaysia. That’s why we lack so much of accountability in our present government and society. We need to change and we need it now and then! To be accoutability to oneself is to be answerable to our conscience. Obviously, some of our leaders just don’t have any….
