It was drizzling… It was hot… It was soaking wet but the people just wouldn’t go away! In fact, many were still streaming into the already swollen crowd packed into an empty land which could only accomodate around 20,000 people.
The adjacent main road – Jalan Baru was packed with vehicles and caused massive traffic jams for vehicles heading towards Bukit Mertajam. Even at around 11.30 pm, the traffic crawl stretched as far as Permatang Pauh exit in the North South Highway as people just refused to leave even though the skies opened up and the rain has been pouring since 9 pm.
Here we can see people of all races – Malays, Chinese, Indians sitting on the ground to hear what the speaker has to say in the mega-ceramah just now in Jalan Baru Rally. The crowd gathered as far and as much as the camera could capture and there were more who just could not ’squeeze’ into this small piece of land. Tonight, all our Pakatan Rakyat YBs have attained ’superstar’ status through such strong support from the REAL grassroots!
Along with CM Lim Guan Eng who flew the DAP flag and other leaders, famous blogger Raja Petra was also present to provide his moral support to Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Wearing his trademark defiant t-shirt with the inscription “C4Me”, Raja Petra arrived amid the people who eagerly shook hands with him to show their support in his courageous struggle for justice for some Mongolian.
Leaders from PAS also arrived to prove the unity amongst the Pakatan members as well as to dump the notion of break-up played up by our (sighhhhh…) biased mainstream media in their bid to pull the fence-sitters over to BN’s side.
Meanwhile, the Iman who witnessed the swearing of Saiful had dropped another bombshell this evening by stating that he was sure the deputy prime minister’s aide had helped Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan in the sodomy issue.
The Malaysiakini reports:
“I’m quite sure I know who it is as I’ve seen the picture he took with Saiful at Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s office. I think he is Najib’s special officer,” said Ramlang.
Najib’s special officer Khairil Anas Yusof was photographed together with Saiful at the deputy premier’s office before the elections.
Commenting on the matter at the Yayasan Aman office today, PKR chief Anwar Ibrahim said that Ramlang’s statement is further proof of Najib’s involvement in the Saiful allegation.
“This confirms our earlier belief that this was orchestrated by Umno all along, timed perfectly for this election,” said Anwar.

Aiyaaaa… how come the secret leaked easily? Who’s responsible of writing such a poor script? How come no Plan B ah when Plan A fails? How come the Iman is still around to tell the real story? I thought the innocent iman should ‘disappear’ just like what happened to P.I. Bala and Doctor Puswari after they have played their role. Hmmmm…. seems that this time someone miscued something. Sighhh… poor planning yields poor execution. Sure doomed to failure lah…
But to all eligible voter in Permatang Pauh, be it Malay, Chinese or Indians, I SALUTE you and ADMIRE you as very few people get to be in your shoes… which is the priviledge to choose the future PM of rakyat Malaysia. As I have always reiterate that we got the CM of rakyat in Lim Guan Eng. Let’s realise the dream of all Malaysians to have the PM of the people now. Come out and CROSS the correct choice. There is no other better choice now than our Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim! Keep the flame of ‘Reformasi’ alive in our heart & soul.

Its final countdown..! Remember it is peoples’ war. It is the day for Pematang Pauh not only deciding for their future but for Malaysians and the nation. Send the message to those arrogant people in power that dont overstay your welcome and you guys have betrayed us for the last 50 years and time for payback will come soon. This nation does not belong to UMNO/BN but its belong to all Malaysians. MERDEKA. VOTE FOR DSAI.

There certain sense excitement and nervousness pervading me this morning.Excitement that finally the curtain fall on Permatang Pauh with its constituents casting their votes at this very minute.Nervousness whether DSAI can overcome the majority secured by Dr Wan Azizah to pave his way to Putrajaya.
Somehow deep inside me vote rigging and cheating by BN in cohort with Election Commision may scuttle DSAI move to Putrajaya.
I can only pray.
